Meet The Team

Kate Abolins

I have been on a healing path for 20 years, which has taken many forms, but the thread running through has been a desire for a deeper connection with ourselves, each other, and the natural world. Movement Medicine offers a place to explore these connections; increasing our capacity to breathe and move and release what doesn't serve us - clearing a space so that the future can enter. I am in long-term recovery from a stroke/brain haemorrhage I had in June 2022, which radically changed my life. I made the decision to train to teach MM as I find such a deep resource in this embodied practice and community and want to extend the invitation in my community, including for those in recovery. I am a shiatsu practitioner, yoga teacher and have a long-term Buddhist practice.

Kiera Baldwin

Being an Upledger Craniosacral Therapist for over 20 years has given me good grounds in working with people in ways that are supportive and grounded. We dance to regulate our nervous systems, facilitating the release of held patterns in the mind and body, discovering our resources and strengths, and to explore what it is dancing in a supportive community. Dancing re-connects us to a deeper, wiser part of ourselves that helps us to live a fuller and more authentic life. We do all of this whilst having a good boogie!
